If you had to teach a seminar on Gertrude Stein, and the seminar was to be focused on “queerness” however construed, which text would you discuss?

Shucks, when I glanced at the title of the post I thought you were going to ask us for advice on how to remove stains. I’m something of an expert on that one.

Juliana Spahr has a nice chapter on Stein in Everyone’s Autonomy, thought it mentions gender issues it goes in a different direction about collective identity… which is sort of a gender thing really.
